Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician | Whole-Body Wellness Advocate
Dr. Adrienne N. Burrows, M.D., is a compassionate and highly respected board-certified internal medicine physician who brings a whole-person approach to modern medicine. Known for her calm presence, clinical precision, and unwavering dedication, Dr. Burrows has spent over two decades delivering comprehensive care in both hospital and outpatient settings throughout California.
A proud graduate of Howard University College of Medicine, one of the nation’s most prestigious HBCUs, Dr. Burrows completed her internal medicine residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). Her early work in the Los Angeles County healthcare system shaped her deep commitment to delivering equitable, evidence-based, and personalized care.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Burrows is affiliated with leading institutions such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Southern California Hospital at Culver City. Over the years, she has earned the trust of patients, families, and colleagues through her thoughtful, thorough, and patient-first approach to medicine.
Dr. Burrows’ clinical philosophy is rooted in both traditional internal medicine and modern wellness principles. She emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, hormonal health, metabolic balance, and lifestyle-driven healing, helping patients of all backgrounds take a proactive role in their well-being. Her goal is not only to treat illness but to empower each patient to live with vitality, confidence, and longevity.
Patients often describe Dr. Burrows as intuitive, present, and deeply invested in their care—whether she’s managing complex conditions, reviewing labs, creating tailored treatment plans, or simply taking the time to listen. Her approach is rooted in the belief that great medicine goes beyond the diagnosis—it meets people where they are.
In addition to her internal medicine practice, Dr. Burrows is a recognized expert in regenerative medicine, particularly the use of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for both medical and aesthetic applications. She frequently uses PRP to treat joint pain, tissue healing, and inflammation, offering a natural and non-invasive alternative to surgery. Her skill in aesthetic treatments such as PRP hair restoration and facial rejuvenation is trusted by patients who seek subtle, clinically sound, and confident results.
At Coast and Aloe, Dr. Burrows leads with science, heart, and integrity—delivering care that is personalized, proactive, and grounded in trust. She believes medicine should heal, educate, and inspire, and she welcomes each patient as a partner on the journey toward lasting health.
“My role isn’t just to treat illness—it’s to walk with my patients toward long-term wellness. That starts by listening.”
Dr. Burrows’ Philosophy “I believe medicine should never feel rushed or impersonal. My goal is to build real relationships with my patients—so we can make decisions together, and so every person leaves feeling empowered in their health.”
